The Cold Reading Series is not just for writers and actors, musicians are a part of our community too! Like any performers, musicians are here to tell stories.For the last few seasons, the CRS has included a musical portion in the show. Our goal is to provide musicians the same opportunity to share their work, connect with the community and create more.
CRS for Musicians
Every 2nd Monday of the month we set aside 10-12 minutes for musicians to play a mini-set “unplugged” and test out new musical compositions.
What’s it in for you?
At the CRS, you have a safe and supportive environment to try out your brand new creation. You will get to hear how it sounds live and see how the audience reacts to your work.
You will also get the chance to connect with other artists and performers. There are musicians who have gotten the chance to compose for writers/directors through the CRS!
Your chance to play
We welcome music from any genre. So long it’s new, fits into the “unplugged” mini-set format, and good, we want it. All you have to do is get us a sample of your work.
